Why does the Levin suit Saudi buyers?
Toyota is one of the most familiar car brands in the Kingdom, and the Levin offers Toyota engineering in a compact sedan size that suits city driving, ride-hailing and company fleets. The 2.0L petrol version suits buyers who prefer a conventional engine for highway driving, while the 1.8L hybrid lowers fuel cost in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam traffic.
How are cars shipped to Saudi Arabia?
Vehicles travel by sea from China to Jeddah Islamic Port on the Red Sea or King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam on the Gulf. We quote Ro-Ro for larger orders and containers for smaller or mixed orders. On CIF terms we deliver to your chosen port; you then clear the cars through customs.
What should importers check first?
- Conformity: vehicles imported into Saudi Arabia must meet Saudi technical regulations administered by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO). Ask your clearing agent which certificate applies to China-specification cars.
- Age of used cars: Saudi Arabia limits the age of imported used light vehicles. Confirm the current limit with ZATCA before ordering a 2022–2024 unit.
- Duties and VAT: customs duty and VAT are payable on import and depend on the declared value.
Which Levin should you choose for Saudi Arabia?
For most Saudi buyers we recommend the new 2026 Toyota Levin: it avoids used-car age questions and offers both hybrid and 2.0L options. Fleet operators can discuss volume pricing with our fleet team.
