Commercial overview
The 2024 Toyota Levin offers the same fifth-generation 1.8L hybrid system as the newest car at a lower entry cost, which makes it a strong choice for importers buying used, inspected stock. Its hybrid uses a lithium-ion battery and a 70 kW motor for 101 kW of combined output, with the best WLTC figure in the Levin range at 4.07 L/100 km. A 1.2T turbo petrol is the alternative for markets that prefer non-hybrid cars. The body is the 4,640 mm, 2,700 mm-wheelbase sedan used since the 2019 launch, LHD, with Toyota Safety Sense on every trim.
The 2024 model year is where many fleet buyers find the best balance between age and price. The car is recent enough to pass most age limits on imported used vehicles, and the hybrid drivetrain is the same proven system used in the 2026 car.
Two powertrains were sold: the 1.8L hybrid in Leading, Luxury, Knight and Sport trims, and the 1.2T turbo in Luxury and Sport trims. Both drive the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission. A 10.25-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay is standard, and hybrid trims have automatic climate control.
